We stayed in the 3 bedroom, 15 sleeper condo. Sooooo pretty. Everything was very clean and tidy and the view is perfect. Right on the beach. The only thing is the elevators; they're not terrible but they are hot when you have to share with so many people and take a while to stop on your floor. Overall, we were very happy.

One star only because the view is awesome and it's right on the beach! The elevators are so slow and have no ventilation. The place is dirty and we had broken furniture upon arrival. Our bathroom had hair all over the floor and the mattress was absolutely disgusting! The furniture and carpeting was also very dirty. We could also hear beds and floors squeaking from neighboring condos. We paid a lot of money for a 3 bedroom for a week and will never go back!

We stayed here the week before Labor Day weekend checking out the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Our check in process was quick and easy. Yes, you have to unload all of your belongings in the parking garage across the street but there are elevators and walkway to the hotel. They do have luggage carts and grocery carts available but you have to cross the walkway and get them from the second floor lobby and then take it to the parking garage and return it back to the lobby. During high volume times you will have to turn in an ID to take a cart. The resort is clean and modern but the pool area would really benefit from a kiddie pool or zero depth entry. There are two outdoor pools and an indoor pool, all of which were well maintained and clean. You must bring your own towels. There is easy access to the beach. We did find out once we arrived that because we were using our timeshare points via RCI that the chairs and umbrellas do not come without charge. For the full week it was going to be $140 or $40 a day. We just went and grabbed chairs from one of the beach stores. Our room was clean, had a full kitchen and came with 2 packs of dishwashing detergent, one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Be sure to bring those items for longer stays. Our bed wasn't the most comfortable but we made a one bedroom with a king size bed and a pullout sofa work for our family of 5. We had a great view from the 18th floor and don't have any complaints really. Fair warning- during busy times ( Labor Day Weekend, holiday weekends and certainly Spring Break) the elevators get very crowded, very hot and wait times will be long. Keep in mind they have 30 floors! Up until Friday we had zero problems with elevator wait times though.

I stayed here summer of 2014 with a party of 8. While the condo was beautiful- there were a few setbacks. It was horrifyingly packed. It is a huge condo- like many of them are and this comes with several struggles. This worst part was the slow elevators. I think once we waited about 40 minutes for one. The second thing was that check in and check out were the same weekly on Sunday. So getting in and out was hard due to short supplies like the bell hop carts and again overuse of the elevators. The third thing. The beach that is conveniently located right out the door, was gross with sludge from a drainage pipe outside the building. It completely ruined the view of the beach and whilst swimming you couldn't help but wonder if the sludge was touching you! In my opinion there are other condos that are more suitable for your vacation which offer a little bit more.

I decided to take a last minute spring break trip with my kids (17-year-old twins and a 14-year-old). Tried unsuccessfully to book through Wyndham, as they were way over priced and couldn't get me in the Tidewater, where we had friends staying. Went on VRBO and found the perfect condo at a reasonable price, and in the resort we wanted. The condo was nicely furnished and very clean! The downside of the Tidewater is the elevator and the parking garage. The elevator wait can be long at peak times. The parking garage is across the street, so it is a bit of a walk. The resort provides shopping carts on the second floor for you to haul your groceries. We didn't have any problems noise, despite it being spring break. You have to remember that the condos are individually owned, so cleanliness and decor will vary!

Stayed on the 16th floor...The location and views are perfect for a stay on beautiful white sand beaches of the gulf. The pools are refreshing and clean. The only two negatives I have about this place are: 1) The elevators, you can wait for long periods of time. Good luck on check in days/time as it gets crazy! 2) Parking garage is nice but across the street which means when you go grocery shopping you have quite the hike to get the goods to your room. Other than that everything else about this place is great! We will be back!

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. Noisy and DIRTY!!!!!! The windows are paper thin and the constant traffic between the elevators meant we got no sleep. People were coming and going all hours of the night. I called security and on a Saturday they had one person for the entire complex. Elevators backed up which meant long waits and noisy hallways outside bedrooms. The condo was not clean. We had to wash the sheets, mattress pads and blankets after I woke to find over 20 bites on my legs! The dryer lint catcher did not work which meant lint accumulated on the inside of the door and when I opened it I got a face full of lint. The bathrooms had no place to hang towels and the walls were brown next to the light switch. The top bunk bed was directly over a sprinkler head which meant it was too dangerous to even sit up! I was left with a massive bruise on my hip due to the wind tunnel that was created when I opened the condo door (the balcony sliding door was open which created the wind tunnel). If a child had been in the doorway it could have caused life threatening injuries. Do not stay at this dump. One more important thing to know is that there are so many chair and umbrella rentals that if you do not choose to use them then it is a long walk to get to an open area to place your own chairs and towels. It's even further on the west side of the building because there is a jet ski rental area there and you cannot place your stuff near it. If you do rent chairs please know the chairs are completely side by side which means no privacy. You will get to know your neighbors very well. The photos are of the backside of the rugs in our bathroom when we arrived. Obviously the rugs had not been cleaned in a very long time, if ever. This place is a complete DUMP!!

This place is in need of some serious repairs. 1st of all, it's a 30 story building with 3 elevators & only one of them has been working. The mattresses in our unit are very old "spring" type. Light bulbs out in lamps, carpets not clean, bathtubs drain very slowly, etc. Have stayed in this area several times but will be staying here again & wouldn't recommend it to others.

Very unhappy. Spent 2300+ for a week stay. Check in process for luggage is terrible with a real lack of luggage carriers. Room smells like dead fish. Blood on kids comforter. Hide a bad which we were needing to use has a broken mechanism. Tile floor dirty enough that the bottoms of your feet get black from it. Elevator use is ridiculous. Long waits, stuffy, not well ventilated. 7 pm, no one to talk to on site to resolve issues. Speak with remote rep on phone next morning, can't change rooms because they are full, (Softball world series was in town, so I think this was legit), will send house keeping this after noon to try and clean up and deal with odor. We asked for some sort of compensation. The best they will do is 1 night refund!?!?!??? With all the excess amount of lodging here, we will pick somewhere else next time. If they would have been a little better at offering compensation I would have considered staying again. We traveled here with another couple and their room is awesome. I will say the view is great but customer service is not up to par. And btw, we are very easy going people. I ll update after I see the "cleaned" room. The room cleaned up to acceptable , except the odor is still here. It took me, that's right, me, 3 days to get the odor minimized. Leaving the front and balcony door open for hours at a time to create a draft and flushing the garbage disposal with hot water, soap and running lemon slices through it. At least they did fix the hide a bed issue. Customer service is jut not a priority here. My wife left 3 voicemails for the on site "manager" and never got a single return call from her. We will never stay here again. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the view and being right on the beach is nice, and our friends really liked their room. Of course, they didn't have a need to deal with customer "service". The on site food was basic, but actually pretty good.

Stayed for a week in #2105. Booked through VRBO and the condo itself was great. The owner was responsive and the condo was clean and nicely furnished. My only comment on the unit was the Internet was slow and you had to be in the family room area to connect. Not a problem for vacation but keep in mind if you plan to do any work during the trip. As far as Tidewater itself, the facilities were comparable to other complexes in the area. The location is convenient to Pier Park. The beach is beautiful of course. They advertise an indoor pool but it was so tiny we never used it. The big reason for the 2 star rating (easily could have been a 1) was the elevators. On checkin/checkout day, allow at least an hour to get an elevator. This is no exaggeration. That means standing there with a weeks worth of beach gear on a luggage cart (once you find one) standing in line in front of the elevator with really pissed of people for 60 minutes to get to the condo you are paying for. During rest of the week the average was closer to 10-15 minutes wait. Better but think about every time you go to the beach, pool, dinner or the store it is 15 minutes going down and 15minutes coming back up. We have stayed at other PCB condos and yes you have to wait during high traffic times but this was way, way worse. We won't be going back to Tidewater. I don't want to spend my vacation waiting on elevators.

This is a highrise condo with gorgeous view of the ocean, even on the eighth floor. We were there for the 7/4 holiday. Despite the beautiful view, the elevators sucked. They were very slow, and mind you, very stuffy with poor ventilation. They probably don't have enough elevators for the occupants of the building. We spent a good part of our vacation waiting for the elevator. It took a long time to unload our luggage from the parking deck and bring them into the unit. They didn't have enough luggage carts and also because of the constant traffic jam of people using the elevators. There were multiple instances of people getting angry with using the elevators.

We stayed week after Easter, and it was great. Be sure to get the L-plan: the master bedroom has a sliding door that steps out to the balcony same as the living room. Condo was very clean, with high end furniture and everything we needed (although we didn't cook there were pots and pans available). I like how the motion sensors coming in from the parking garage worked to start opening the doors while you are still far away and are completely open by the time you reach them- never had to slow down with our luggage. The beach chairs were great, although I wish the pads wouldn't be taken away at 4pm, there is still plenty of light. The restaurant wasn't bad with nice views, but I understand it is seasonal and may not exist in the winter? We booked though VRBO and everything was taken care of. Did not deal with the front desk at all. Overall a great experience.
